The Ryan Maron’s Cricket School of Excellence (RMCSE) was founded in 1998. Since then it has grown to become one of the country’s leading cricket schools. RMCSE offers professional, structured, personalized and hands-on cricket coaching to young cricketers throughout the year in both the Western Cape and Gauteng through the following programmes:
• Afternoon Cricket Coaching during School Term • Private Cricket Coaching • Small Group Cricket Coaching • Holiday Cricket Clinics • Video Analysis • Cricket Parties • Corporate Sports Days (Corpfam)
Sport is vital in the development of children not only on a physical level but on their ability to learn. Through sport they gain confidence, learn to mix with other children, exercise, learn vital life skills such as dealing with rules and discipline and dealing with winning and losing. Above all, sport is fun and good for you.
RMCSE founder, Ryan Maron has himself gone through the ranks of Western Province cricket and his coaching experience includes successful stints as head coach at Rondebosch Boys’ High School and several prominent clubs in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Denmark.
Ryan’s aim is to teach aspiring cricketers the value of discipline, commitment and dedication that has stood him in such good stead on the cricket pitch. The RMCSE has worked hard since it’s inception to develop their brand into both a household name as well as one that is synonymous with professionalism, excellence and development
In 2002 RMCSE got involved with Khayelitsha and Samora Machell Cricket Club. This relationship involved supplying Khayelitsha Cricket Club with clothing, equipment and food. Along with this, 15 boys from the club as well as 4 of their coaches regularly attend the Ryan Maron's holiday clinics. Here the boys are given the opportunity to interact with boys from different cultures and make new friends while honing in on their cricketing talent. Several of these aspiring young cricketers have gone on to be selected for various provincial youth team in both Western Province and Gauteng.
