  • Help the students create an environment that is conducive to fostering success, progress and positive mentalities. One way of doing this is to help students adopt a more process oriented mindset rather than an outcome oriented mindset. CSE HOUT BAY launched our Hout Bay Cricket Development Programme, which incorporated children from Imizamo Yethu as part of our project to develop cricket in Hout Bay. I would like to thank our liaison within the community, Nosiseko Siswana, Hout Bay OK MiniMark for sponsoring lunches and our CSE national sponsors for their great assistance in making this project happen. We also are very thankful to Ambleside School of Hout Bay who kindly donated cricket equipment for the development and International School of Hout Bay who gave us access to sports equipment for the duration of the clinic. We identified some budding talent and look forward to future development in this area.

The creche plays a big role to the community and parents while they are at work and they accept any child. The fees for the creche are also affordable for the parents. Because its winter is here and its cold for the children, we appeal any support or donation of anything that could help the children and the creche. We are looking for blankets, mattresses, heaters, toys...Read More
