Southern Suburbs June/July 2010

The winter clinics for 2010 were once again held at the very popular Action Cricket Arena in Stadium on Main. The venue proved to be ideal as the winter rain did not have any affect on our programme and the students got the benefit of some great facilities.

With the FIFA Soccer World Cup in progress and the extended school holidays, we decided to host an extra holiday clinic instead of the normal two in winter. This proved to be a success as the groups were kept nice and small and attention could be given to each student that attended.

Thank you to our sponsors, New Balance, Auric Auto BMW, SA Cricket Magazine, Coverderm, ADT, Powerade, Gray-Nicolls, Disa Sports, Let’s Play and Sportsmans Warehouse for their support. Their support goes along way to ensure that the Cricket School is well run in a professional manner.

Well done to all the students for making the winter clinics a great success. It was great to see students making new friends and improving their game. We look forward to seeing you all at the next holiday clinic (27 – 30 September) when we are back at Rondebosch Boys’ High School.

Yours in Cricket Ryan Maron and the coaching team
