The CSE Southern Junior Club finished off the term on Friday with a final session of games and a small prize giving.

The Junior Club has been running during the course of the summer term at Rondebosch Boys High School. Our juniors (soft ball) enjoyed weekly sessions in which coaches took them through the basics of cricket, tested their fielding, batting and bowling whilst including elements of etiquette and general knowledge.

The seniors were put into 3 teams, u10, u11 and u13's. They took part in the local Western Province Cricket Association Youth Leagues. Overall they faired very well and we have enjoyed seeing our regular students improve year by year. The students also enjoyed having motivated and enthusiastic coaches which aim to focilate the development of these junior cricketers.

Most importantly the students had fun and with the support of Western Province Cricket, we were able to give away a stack of tickets to local Cobra's and Protea's cricket matches.

A big thank you must go out to all the coaches, parents and students for their continued hardwork and support. We look forawrd to seeing you all again in the new year and wish you a happy and safe festive season.
